Import Exported Course Content

  • In this article, we will show you how to import content that has been exported from a course.
  1. Click Courses on the left hand side, then click All Courses.
    • If you're an admin, make sure you have selected the correct school
      and course within that school.
  2. Select the course you want to work in. 
    Then click the Settings tab.

  3. Click Import Course Content.

  4. Select Canvas Course Export Package.
    Click Choose File to select the file from your computer.
    Select whether you want to import all content or select specific content.
    Click Import.

  5. If you chose select specific content, you need to choose the content.
    Under Current Jobs, click Select Content.

    Select the content you want.
    Then click Select Content.

    Note

    The job will say Complete after all the content is successfully imported.
