How-To Guide

In your course, select the assignment you want to add Turnitin

Click on Edit Assignment Settings

Note: Teachers can include their submission instructions. This can be found on the Answer Key Tab

"Look over your final draft one more time to make sure there are no further improvements you would like to make. Once you feel confident that this is your best attempt, submit your final draft for grading.

Note: Under Submission Type, make sure External Tool is selected in the drop-down.
Click on Find next to the URL

Scroll down to Turnitin and click on the Turnitin hyperlink
Click Select

The URL will update and click Save

Note: You will now be able to set your assignment requirements for Turnitin
Click Submit when finished
