In this article, we will explain how to use group functions in PowerSchool
Group functions allow you to complete a variety of tasks for a selection of students. Each function corresponds to a a different task and can be stored in different data tables in PowerSchool.
Select a group of students.
There are two ways to access Group Functions.
Select Functions
Click the Select Function arrow. Then select from the Group Functions Menu.
Special Functions
Under Functions, click Special Functions.
Then click Group Functions.
Below is a list of the default group functions you will find in PowerSchool, but you may see more in your instance based on your state and district configuration.
Student Pages
Access the same page for multiple students
Attendance
Change attendance
Run the Search By Grades/Attendance report
Run the Search For Perfect Attendance report
Enrollment
View enrollment summary information
Enroll this group of students into the same special program
Re-enroll this group of students into school
Transfer this group of students out of school
