SpeedGrader makes it easy for teachers to evaluate assignments quickly. In SpeedGrader, student submissions, grades, rubrics, and comments are saved all in one place.

Multiple users should not grade assignments at the same time since each grader cannot view the most recent information for a submission.
- Click Courses on the left hand side, then click All Courses.
- If you're an admin, make sure you have selected the correct school
and course within that school.

- Select the course you want to work in.
Click the Assignments tab.
Then select the exam you want to grade. - Click SpeedGrader.
- To select a specific student, click the student name at the top.
Then select their name from the dropdown.
If there are multiple submissions for that student, click the drop down.
Then select the submission you want to grade. - To change the score for a question, select the question.
Then edit the score by clicking the arrows or typing in a number.
Then you will see the score has updated for the question. - Once you have changed the score for all the questions, click Review Changes.
Review the changes.
Then click Submit Changes.
You will see the assessment score has updated. In order for the grade to be reflected in the gradebook, you need to add it to the assessment grade panel on the right hand side. - Type or paste the grade into the box. You can choose to add assignment comments to let students know why you gave them this grade.
Then click Submit.

Then you will see your grade and assignment comment are submitted. Click the arrows on the top right hand side to go between student submissions.
You can also click J on your keyboard to go to the next student, and K on your keyboard to go to the previous student.
