- In this article, we will show you how to edit the settings of an assignment group
- Click Courses on the left hand side, then click All Courses.
- If you're an admin, make sure you have selected the correct school
and course within that school.

- Select the course you want to work in.
Click the Assignments tab. - Click the Gear icon next to the assignment group you want to edit.
Then click Edit.
Fill in the fields you want to edit.
Then click Save.
Note
- % of total grade means assignments in this group add up to that percent of a student's total grade in the course.
- Number of scores to ignore for each student will drop a number of the highest and/or lowest scoring assignments in this group for students in the gradebook.
- Never Drop will exempt an assignment in this group from being dropped based on the highest and/or lowest scores you choose to drop.

Then you will see the assignment group update on the Assignments page. Hover over the rules to see what rules you added.

If you go to the Grades tab, you'll see any assignments that fall into the rules you setup for dropping will have horizontal gray lines to indicate they have been dropped.
