In this article, we will show you how to access Exact Path from StrongMind Central as well as how to select students to assign and un-assign to Exact Path.

Note: To see Exact Path on the Dashboard both teacher and student need to be assigned to the same course section. Once a student has been assigned to Exact Path, all teachers will be able to see an Exact Path icon next to the student's name.

Accessing ExactPath from SMC

Teachers can easily access Exact Path directly from StrongMind Central.  

Note: Once a student has been assigned to Exact Path for the first time, a 'Supplemental' tab appears on the left navigation.

Selecting and Assigning Students to Exact Path

Teachers can now assign Exact Path to students in need, either for all students or a specific set.

• Select the students requiring Exact Path
• Click 'Assign to Student,' and then choose 'Assign Exact Path' to complete the process.

Un-assign Students to Exact Path

Teachers will now have the ability to un-assign Students whom they assigned to Exact Path before.

• Choose the student or students who no longer require access to Exact Path,
• Click on ‘Assign to Student’ and then select ‘Unassign Exact Path.’ This action promptly removes students' access to Exact Path from Central.

  • Yes, you can un-assign students from Exact Path in SMC to remove them from the Exact Path course shell.

• Can I deactivate a Student from Exact Path?
  • Yes, once all teachers un-assign students from Exact Path from SMC students will be deactivated from Exact Path.

• Can multiple teachers assign the same students to the Exact Path Program?

  • Yes, multiple students can assign students to Exact Path.

• How Can I view my students in Exact Path?

  • By clicking on the Exact Path link under Supplemental in SMC.

  • Once the teacher assigns Exact Path to Students. The student will see the Exact Path link under Supplemental and an Exact Path item will display under Action Plan.
    
    

• Why don’t I see Exact Path Icon, once I assign a Student?

  • Once the user assigns the student to Exact Path, you need to refresh your browser to view Exact Path Icons.
