- After creating a group, customize by adding rules and interests in the Admin area.
- Post introductory discussion post to engage community members.
Reminder: Only teachers and administrators can create a group.
Invite Members
- Select the Invite button in the group's header.
- A pop-up will display two options.
- Search for users in your organization.
- Copy the direct link to the group that can be shared.
Request Invitations
Once a user receives the direct link, they must follow the link.
- Log into StrongMind Central by clicking the invite link.
- Once logged in, a message will appear about group privacy. Select the Request to Join button.
- The moderator or teacher who created the group will receive notifications to accept or deny the request to join in the Notifications section of the Admin tab.
Cross-Organization Message
If the group is cross-organizational, a message will persist at the top of the group to all members. It is a friendly reminder that the group contains users outside their organization.
